Need the Reactive Chain

I have the Gargoyle skull and the Vampiric tooth but I need the Reactive Chain to get the remedy to cure Kanade. I went into the Halayal Temple and got to where the Pemtagram or whatever its called and it is lit up but nothing happens. Any help? Is that where the Reactive Chain is? Thanks in advance.

You need to find the plain chain and enchant it in the pentagram area.
