I gave this game a try because it looked like a really neat concept. I think I ended up playing for about half an hour.

The problems I had were:
1) the mouse/keyboard combo was extremely awkward. You could only access the menus using the mouse controls, but you couldn't use the mouse to move around. I, personally, prefer just using the keyboard, but having to constantly switch between mouse and keyboard was really annoying.

2) The battles. As with any rpg, you start off with little money and experience. The first monsters (chickens) didn't even fight back. They gave a little experience and a feather if you loot. But, there was no place to sell the feather or purchase items. So, off into the world I go. The next monsters I encountered (bats and bees) were so jacked up in relation to the chickens that they pretty much demolished me in no time. On top of that, to attack you just hit the a button, but you really have no idea if you are landing a hit unless hit points come off the enemy.

So, with little money, few health items, and constantly dying--on top of the bulky keyboard/mouse combo-- I quickly decided this was not the game for me. I didn't rate the game because I really didn't play that far into it. For all I know, it might get a lot better, but I was done with it :P

In the shop beneath the capitol und above of the market place (I don't remember the name of it,--oh perhaps it was lesser Elswind or so). I hope you have a new sort of game, otherwise you need a patch for downloading. Good luck Willi :)
