abandoned monestary of malzu

I'm in the abandoned monestary of malzu with Beatrice's party, can't find Malzu! I fought the pillar monster, then put statue on empty pillar, however no opening appears to move forward. Any suggestions?

You need to head out to the room to the left.

nevermind - I found the stairway on the southwest side, not in the room the statue was placed

I find NO stairway to find Malzu. Also, is the "statue" the red and silver thing on the table? Why can't I find the stairway and Malzu ?????????????????????????????????????????????

The statue is in the storage room. First you need to go to the last room and click on the empty slot of the statue. Then go back and get the statue from the storage room and put it on the empty slot of the last room. A door will open on the left hand side room of the second last passage.

Thank you so much for your help. I got thru the monestary. I realized after there was a clue, but it just went right over my head !!! I appreciate it. Btw, this is a great, fun RPG game, and I play tons. I like the duality of it.

I am also stuck in the monastery. Fught the pillar monster. Have not found any statue in the storage room. Just wander around getting nowhere fast. Boring!!!!!!!!!!! Where exactly is that statue?

The first statue is at the right hand room near entrance. You need to pick that up once you find the second statue, which is in the last room of the dungeon.
