Hi!
I really enjoy this game. I like the lack of fighting surprisingly, and the story line is a bit thin/short. But there is a sense of excitement all through it. The mood and humour is good and the principle with the exp is new and works. The controls are easy and familiar as well. Frankly, it took me two minutes of trial to know I was buying it. I'm not finished yet, but it will be 4/5 on the dice.

Now, on to my challenges : the blue teddy talks of a secret way into the kings bedroom. Where is this?
And what do I need to get into the cave on top of the cliff? (If you value your bones...)

I take a few things back. It's getting harder now :-O Not sure how far this goes, but it is intriguing even tho the storyline is fractured.
I'm gonna need some more help. I've gotten as far as the volcano now, but I'll wait till more ppl have started playing and have a few hints for me. And ask me as well, I've got a few.

Hi, I'm glad you like the game :). And about the storyline, there isn't meant to be a main story. Why must there be one anyway? Can't a guy just wander and do quests for fun? :P. Also, I wrote a complete quest guide which you can find in my signature.

To answer your questions: To find the secret area to Lord Waltson's house, it's on the outside, west, 4th block from the bottom. To access that area north of Hearthson, you have to solve the raccoon problem a certain way (really evil).

I really enjoyed this game immensely and found myself wishing it was a lot longer and that there were more quests. I love the fact that you are just wandering and completing quests, and that you often have to figure out where the quests are (sometimes they aren't so obvious).

The game is set up for replayablility, with every quest giving you options which determine future quests and your good/evil stats. What you can do depends on the levels of four different stats (survival, mechanics, climbing, and beast language), and there also are items you can buy to enhance those stats.

The one large flaw with the game is that if you go heavily in one direction as far as good/evil, you can't actually finish the game because you can't get your stats high enough. However, while this is a "bit" of a nuisance, since the game is made to be replayed, it isn't extremely detrimental.

The other problem I found was much more annoying. It involved the good clown quest and the way that quest was set up, I could not finish it. In fact, that was more frustrating to me than the other problem.

Overall, I would highly recommend this game. It's definitely unique and I can see so many ways that this developer could go with future games (even maybe one with a storyline :P). And, the price can't be beat :D

Haha, my next game, which I plan to release next year, will have more of a storyline, but still less than most games. And I think I'll leave out those kinds of quests that you mention as you aren't the only one to have trouble with the good clown quest or the volcano. I personally liked them, but eh.

To give a hint: in the next game you will have to choose between 2 "factions", and each faction will have a large city and a surrounding area to explore. Also, both factions will be at conflict with each other, and the one faction you choose, you can't explore the other. I also plan to have more quests like Bernard's, where the choice you make affects future quests. Right now I'm in the planning stages, and soon I will be playing Skyrim so not much time then to come up with ideas lol.

EDIT: Forgot to say that I too wish there were more quests, but it's really hard to come up with quests that can be completed in more than 1 way AND be logical all around. Not to mention avoiding cliches and "common" quests (fetch quests etc.).

It was very obvious that you put a lot of thought into the game, and I can't imagine just how much time you must have spent plotting everything out! It wouldn't be so bad if it was just on a quest by quest, but you had to map out all based on the different choices. I really did think it was a very neat twist to the rpg game :D

I really wonder ,where is the sense of the game. After the demo I wrote with Kane and before being prejusticed I try the whole game. Its so boring...I do the things and get points evil or good(how moralic) .Nothing to think,to solve, to imagine,to fight or anything else.
Do I do anything wrong? I'm no robot, but I want to PLAY and have fun,but I#m depressed after 3 hours

First, I'm sorry you weren't able to get into my game. I explain how the game works to the best of my ability and have a demo which gives a clear understanding of what you can expect from the full game.

The sense is this: it's an RPG with non-standard quests, no fighting, and no puzzles. Basically, it's like playing a quasi choose-your-own-adventure book. Not all people, including me, want to play something where you must fight or solve puzzles. Sometimes we just want to play and be involved in interesting little quests. This game is definitely for people who like to read, but even then you can't necessarily expect to like what you read. I have my own way of writing and doing things and not all people like it.

I can totally understand that having a game with only words and nothing else can be boring. I know sometimes when I play games I get bored of the people talking and just want to get to some fighting! Most often though I relish reading the dialog and talking to people. I want my games to be unique, for better or worse, and have no fighting or puzzles. Just pure writing and choice making.

I do admit that the choices in this game for most of the quests are nowhere near what they could be, but I am rectifying that in my next game. I also do admit that morality points for your actions isn't always the best thing, and are a bit cliche. In my next game it is "city points" instead where if you hurt the people of one town you get points for the other, regardless of what the action might have been.

Again, the key thing is that playing my game is like reading a compilation book of short stories. Besides the choices which change what "page" you get to read, there really isn't much else to it. I'm going to stress this fact and make it more clear when I release my next game.

It really does make me sad that you put faith in me, bought the game, and still didn't like it. I appreciate it very much you posting your opinion. If you would like a refund, just contact me.
